Lecture at Daegu Chamber of Commerce Daegu Economic Forum
On the 10th, the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry held the ‘21st Century Daegu Economic Forum 264th Seminar’ at the Daegu Grand Hotel, attended by over 130 local institution and organization heads, as well as forum members.
At this seminar, Lee Jin-hyung, CEO of Data Marketing Korea, was invited to give a lecture on the theme “Making People Act Through Data.”
CEO Lee predicted that the future world will be one where “data analysis is entrusted to AI, and people focus on creative work, and the significance of data-related certifications will gradually fade.” He foresaw “a world where even those who have never learned data analysis will have AI directly interpret data, write reports, and even deliver them.”
He further advised small and medium-sized enterprises to “not try to do too much at once but start with small parts,” suggesting “assigning one or two passionate employees to be in charge, and by trusting them, the organization will gradually transform into one with a data mindset.”
CEO Lee has served as an adjunct professor in the Department of Data Science at Sungkyunkwan University and the Department of Management Information Systems at Dongguk University. He is currently active in lectures, YouTube activities, and consulting.
The 21st Century Daegu Economic Forum is a representative local breakfast meeting established by the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1995. For nearly 30 years, it has provided high-level economic and management information to local companies.
