Joint Purchase with Husband on the 47th Floor of Acro Seoul Forest

The buyer of the Ttukseom penthouse, which recorded the highest price of 13 billion KRW in private transactions last year, has been revealed to be actress Jeon Ji-hyun.

According to the JoongAng Ilbo, a check of the registry confirmed that on September 30 last year, the 47th floor of Acro Seoul Forest in Seongsu-dong 1-ga, Seongdong-gu, was jointly purchased by Jeon Ji-hyun and her husband for 13 billion KRW. Jeon Ji-hyun holds 12/13 of the shares, with the remainder belonging to her husband.

The report states that there is no mortgage loan on the property and it is presumed to have been purchased entirely with cash. Jeon Ji-hyun has since moved her address to this location.

This residence is on the top floor of Acro Seoul Forest (47 floors, 91?273㎡, 280 units). Acro Seoul Forest ranked 5th in the highest official apartment prices this year, with an official price of 8.193 billion KRW. It is one of the rare places where the official price increased despite the overall downward trend this year.

Jeon Ji-hyun is a prominent real estate investor in the entertainment industry. Notably, she sold a building purchased for 8.6 billion KRW in 2007 for 23.5 billion KRW in 2021, and sold her residence bought for 7.5 billion KRW in 2014 for 13 billion KRW in 2020, demonstrating exceptional talent in real estate.

Last year, she purchased a building leased to High Plaza from LK Asset Management for 50.5 billion KRW. The building has three above-ground floors and a total floor area of 5,098㎡. AM Plus built the building in February 2019 and sold it to LK Asset Management for 35 billion KRW in March 2021. LK Asset Management sold it to Jeon Ji-hyun after about a year, making a capital gain of over 15 billion KRW. The rental income from High Plaza is reported to be over 106 million KRW per month.

The total estimated market value of Jeon Ji-hyun’s current real estate holdings is between 140 billion and 150 billion KRW.
