After COVID-19, Air Busan has steadily returned to major Japanese routes, solidifying its position as the strongest player in the Japan route market, resulting in a rebound with record-high sales and operating profits.
In addition to Japan, Air Busan is expanding its business area in the Philippines by operating flights to Clark and Boracay (Kalibo).
Air Busan plans to maximize company profits by focusing on short-haul regions such as Japan and Southeast Asia, where traveler demand is high.
Air Busan is also running a promotion offering discount coupons to customers purchasing tickets on the two new routes.
Passengers using the Incheon-Sapporo route will receive a KRW 30,000 discount coupon applicable immediately upon purchasing round-trip tickets, while passengers on the Incheon-Bohol route will receive a KRW 30,000 discount coupon usable when purchasing bundled add-on services.
The add-on service bundle includes ▲pre-purchased baggage ▲pre-assigned seats ▲pre-ordered in-flight meals, sold at a lower price than purchasing each service individually.
The promotion is limited to the first 600 customers per route and is available until the 15th. The coupon usage period for travel is from June 23 to July 19. Detailed information can be found on the Air Busan website and mobile web/app.
An Air Busan representative said, “Going forward, Air Busan will continue to expand its routes not only in its core market of Japan but also to various popular travel destinations, enhancing its competitiveness in the metropolitan market.”
