Comprehensive Golf Platform
Combining Expertise of Both Companies to Plan Differentiated Products
Interpark announced on the 9th that it has signed a business agreement with VC Soft, a comprehensive golf platform company, to promote golf travel.
VC Soft is a subsidiary of VC, a golf IT specialist company that manufactures and sells 'Voice Caddie,' the No. 1 golf rangefinder in domestic usage. It also provides the mobile application (app) 'APL Golf,' which offers real-time pin location (APL) information for about 500 golf courses in Korea.
Interpark, in collaboration with VC Soft, plans to add information on more than 100 overseas golf courses within the APL Golf app and provide the comprehensive golf course guidebook 'Yardage Book' and distance measurement features free of charge when using Interpark's overseas golf travel products. Additionally, it will offer green slope and elevation information using ultra-precise 3D scanning technology and enable personal score registration and management services.
Furthermore, until October, Interpark plans to sell golf travel products at the industry's lowest prices that allow rounds using the APL Golf app at famous overseas golf courses such as Pattaya St. Andrews.
Yeom Soon-chan, head of Interpark's package tour business group, stated, "As golf travelers continue to increase following the COVID-19 pandemic, we expect to plan distinctive products and provide differentiated customer experiences through this agreement with VC Soft, Korea's leading golf platform."
