On the 9th, the Seoul Seocho Police Station announced that the case in which former Deputy Secretary-General Lee sued an unnamed prosecutor belonging to the Anti-Corruption Investigation Division 2 of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office for leaking official secrets was transferred to the PCC on the 4th.

On the 28th of last month, former Deputy Secretary-General Lee, through the law firm The Firm, pointed to the prosecution as the source of the recording file related to the money envelope suspicion and sued the investigating team prosecutor and JTBC reporters who reported it to the police.

However, the case in which the JTBC news director and reporters were sued for violating the Personal Information Protection Act will continue to be investigated by the police.
