Gyeonggi Office of Education to Relocate to Gwanggyo New Town Starting the 15th Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Southern Office

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is relocating its Southern Office from Jowon-dong, Jangan-gu, Suwon to Gwanggyo New Town, Yeongtong-gu.

On the 8th, the Gyeonggi Office of Education announced that starting from the 15th of this month, departments and divisions will sequentially move to the new Southern Office located in Gwanggyo New Town over a period of five weeks. The address of the Southern Office is 28, Docheong-ro, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi Province.

The civil service office will move on Saturday, the 20th of this month, to minimize inconvenience to visitors, and will resume normal operations at the new office from Monday, the 22nd.


The Gyeonggi Office of Education plans to establish a smart office that allows work anytime and anywhere to minimize administrative work gaps. Additionally, it will strengthen publicity about the office relocation to minimize inconvenience to the Gyeonggi education family and visitors.

In particular, to enhance accessibility to the new office, banners and signboards will be posted from Gwanggyo Jungang Station to the entrance of the Southern Office, guiding lines will be installed in the underground parking lot, and indoor directional signs will be improved.

The relocation schedule by department and information on how to visit the new office can be found on the Gyeonggi Office of Education website and the Gyeonggi Edu Call Center (1396).


Kim Hyang-hee, head of the Southern Office Construction Promotion Team at the Gyeonggi Office of Education, said, "We will thoroughly prepare to minimize inconvenience to the Gyeonggi education family and visitors due to the relocation and to prevent any administrative work gaps. We ask those visiting the office during the relocation period to check the departmental relocation schedules before visiting."
