Children's Day Events Postponed or Canceled Due to Safety Concerns
From the 5th, which is both Children's Day and Friday, until the afternoon of the 6th, the entire country will be cloudy with rain.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 4th, the expected rainfall between the 4th and 6th is 50 to 150 mm near the southern coast, Jeju Island, and around Jirisan, 30 to 100 mm in the central region, Jeolla area (excluding the southern coast), northern Gyeongsangbuk-do, Gyeongsangnam-do area (excluding the southern coast), and the five western islands, and 20 to 60 mm in southern Gyeongsangbuk-do, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo. More than 400 mm of heavy rain is expected in the mountainous areas of Jeju Island.

Fine dust levels are expected to be 'good' nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the influence of precipitation.
There may be places with gusts of wind accompanied by thunder and lightning, mainly over the West Sea, so caution is needed for maritime safety accidents. The wave heights in the coastal seas will be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the West Sea, and 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the South Sea.
