The new garlic (around 50 bulbs) being offered this time is purchased from Goheung, Jeonnam and Changnyeong, Gyeongnam, which are excellent garlic-producing regions. Unlike other garlic, it has firm cloves and is not spicy, making it suitable for pickling. The price is 13,900 KRW, and L.POINT members receive a 2,000 KRW discount when paying with a promotional card. This price is 20% cheaper than the market price. Pre-orders are accepted at the "How Can We Help You?" corner inside Lotte Mart or at the Lotte Super checkout counters, and products can be picked up at the stores where orders were placed from the 18th to the 20th.

Product planners (MDs) from Lotte Mart and Lotte Super personally visited the production areas for about a month to inspect the quality of the products and found verified high-quality new garlic from Goheung and Changnyeong. The two companies jointly signed purchase contracts, secured additional cultivation areas, and prepared about 1,000 tons of stock.

A Lotte Mart official said, “The new garlic prepared through this pre-order was purchased in bulk through a joint contract between Lotte Mart and Lotte Super, allowing us to offer the product at a price lower than the market price,” adding, “Starting with new garlic, we plan to prepare various seasonal vegetables and hold pre-order events.”
