Saltlux to Hire Large Number of Experienced Developers

Artificial intelligence (AI) company Saltlux announced on the 4th that it will conduct a large-scale open recruitment for experienced developers. Applications will be accepted online through job portals such as JobKorea until the 19th.

With the rapid growth of the AI industry sparked by the ChatGPT craze and the expansion of Saltlux's core business areas, the company is conducting open recruitment to quickly secure talent. The recruitment fields include ▲product and service development and technical support ▲research and development developers (natural language processing, image processing, speech processing) ▲prompt engineers ▲project managers, among others.

The hiring process will proceed in the order of ▲document screening ▲first interview (practical) ▲second interview (executive), and results will be announced within two weeks from the application deadline. Document screening and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis until the recruitment is completed by the 2nd of next month. Successful candidates will receive a congratulatory bonus after compensation negotiations.

This is expected to be an opportunity for general developers to build careers as AI developers. A Saltlux representative stated, "Regardless of whether candidates have experience related to artificial intelligence, we will hire developers with excellent capabilities and provide education through our own program to help them grow into AI experts." For prompt engineers, anyone interested in writing and IT technology can apply regardless of their major.

Saltlux develops and operates various welfare programs to improve employee job satisfaction. It supports up to 1.5 million KRW per person for selective welfare expenses that can be used for health management and self-development. Expenses for book purchases, lunch, and club activities are also supported within certain limits. Medical expenses for employees and their families, as well as children's education expenses, are provided, and an in-house loan system supports employees' financial stability. The company has also received a presidential citation as a "family-friendly excellent company."

Since early this year, Saltlux has expanded flexible working hours by adding a selective working hours system to the existing staggered commuting system, allowing employees to adjust their working hours according to their tasks. The company is piloting a workation system in Jeju Island and Gangwon Province, enabling employees to combine work and rest at their preferred locations. Various benefits such as an in-house cafeteria (coffee and snacks), hotel vacations (in Seoul, Gangwon, Jeju, and other local hotels and resorts), incentives (PS, PI), and health checkups are provided. Saltlux supports employees in maintaining a work-life balance and working in a more comfortable environment.

A Saltlux representative said, "We are increasing our workforce to strengthen competitiveness in the rapidly changing AI market and to quickly respond to customer demands. We look forward to the interest and applications of creative and challenging talents who will grow together with Saltlux, which possesses core AI and big data technologies."

Saltlux holds the largest number of AI and big data-related technology patents in Korea and is the first AI company in the industry to be listed on KOSDAQ. It operates overseas subsidiaries in the United States and Vietnam. Major clients include Samsung Electronics, LG, KT, Hyundai Motor Group, NongHyup Bank, the Constitutional Court, the Ministry of Government Legislation, and BMW. Recently, it gained attention by unveiling ‘LuciaGPT,’ a Korean-style ChatGPT, following the AI-based video creation and broadcasting platform Plunit Studio. New services such as ‘WorkCenter’ and ‘Goober’ are also scheduled to be launched within the year.
