Paldos announced on the 4th that they will launch two types of 'Gatttugeong' instant noodles: Gatttugeong Kimchi Stew Ramen and Gatttugeong Green Onion Yukgaejang Ramen.
Gatttugeong is a compound word combining the representative domestic cup noodle 'Wangttugeong' and the neologism 'Gat,' meaning the best. It signifies the top-tier product of the Wangttugeong brand. It features generous ingredients and a deep broth flavor tailored to Korean tastes.
The Gatttugeong Kimchi Stew Ramen includes a 50g retort pouch of stir-fried kimchi as a separate packet. It is a product that adds a tangy flavor to the savory broth characteristic of pork kimchi stew. The Gatttugeong Green Onion Yukgaejang Ramen is characterized by large mushrooms, green onion pieces, and powdered soup that adds the aroma of fire-grilled green onions, enhancing the deep flavor of traditional yukgaejang. As it pursues premium cup noodles, a luxurious design was also applied to the lid.
The limited sales quantity of the new products is 400,000 units each. They will be exclusively launched on Naver Shopping on the 8th. After the Naver Shopping Live on the 11th, the sales channels will be expanded to online platforms including Coupang.
