Gyeongnam Governor Park Wan-su Launches 'NO EXIT' Campaign: "Don't Touch Drugs"

"Increased Access for Students and Youth, Expanding Prevention of Misuse"

Park Wan-su, Governor of Gyeongnam Province, participated in the ‘NO EXIT’ relay campaign on the 3rd to prevent drug crimes.

Governor Park became the second participant in the province, following Kim Byung-soo, Chief of Gyeongnam Police Agency, on the 1st.

He took a certification photo holding a drug prevention campaign sign with the phrase, “A maze with no exit, NO EXIT, absolutely do not start drugs.”

The next participants were nominated as Gu Ja-cheon, Chairman of the Gyeongnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry Council, and Choi Jong-seok, President of the Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical Association.

Governor Park said, “Recently, the frequency of encountering drugs in daily life has increased, especially among students and young people,” adding, “Through this campaign, we aim to raise awareness about drugs and work together with the Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical Association to expand prevention education and publicity regarding drug misuse.”

This campaign is being jointly promoted by the National Police Agency, the Drug Eradication Movement Headquarters, and related government departments amid growing concerns about drug crimes following the recent drug-laced beverage incident in the Gangnam academy district.
