Dong-Eui Institute of Technology Holds Plaque Unveiling Ceremony for Korea Mold Digital Education Center

Dong-Eui Institute of Technology held a plaque unveiling ceremony on April 26th to announce the opening of the Korea Mold Digital Education Center within the Busan-Gyeongnam Mold Industry Cooperative.

The ceremony was jointly hosted by the Busan-Gyeongnam Mold Industry Cooperative, Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, and the Gyeongnam Mold Industry Cooperative in connection with Busan City's high-tech-based mold technology advancement support project. It was supported by Busan City, Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, Busan Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials, Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, and Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information.

The event was attended by Kim Young-do, President of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology; Lee Soo-gyun, Chairman of the Busan-Gyeongnam Mold Industry Cooperative; Yoon Dong-jin, Chairman of the Gyeongnam Mold Industry Cooperative; members of the Busan-Gyeongnam Mold Industry Cooperative; and faculty and staff of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology to celebrate the plaque unveiling ceremony.

The Korea Mold Digital Education Center plans to develop and operate various education and training programs to enhance the job skills of current workers, ensuring the continuous influx of young people into the mold industry to inherit and develop high-skilled mold technology and to increase the digital competitiveness of the mold industry.

Kim Young-do, President of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, stated, “The mold industry must enhance its competitiveness so that young people can enter the mold industry and realize their dreams.”

Dong-Eui Institute of Technology is operating a special industrial class composed of 12 workers in the mold and machinery fields.
