KT Skylife Launches Pet Dog Channel 'Happy Dog TV'

KT Skylife launched a new channel called Happy Dog TV for companion dogs on the 1st.

Happy Dog TV is a TV channel for companion dogs that helps reduce boredom and stress caused by external noise, allowing them to relax. It is used in various places such as animal hospitals, dog kindergartens, and dog hotels to assist dogs experiencing stress and anxiety while their owners are away.

Happy Dog TV offers functional content developed through joint research by veterinary and video experts, providing healing not only for companion dogs but also for companion cats and their owners. The play content is based on animal behavior science to stimulate pets' curiosity, while the healing content incorporates high-frequency sounds and natural sounds to help pets achieve psychological stability.

Happy Dog TV is provided as an application through an open platform, allowing access to all services of Happy Dog TV not only in the all-day class but also in the Saetbyeol class. The all-day class channel features both play and healing content, while the Saetbyeol class channel offers healing content designed for pets with sensitive personalities and those prone to anxiety.

Skylife customers can pay 8,800 KRW per month (VAT included) to use both the all-day class and Saetbyeol class channels on Happy Dog TV according to their needs.

Yang Chunsik, CEO of KT Skylife, explained, "As the number of single-person households and senior generations raising companion animals increases, customer needs for the stability and healing of companion animals have grown, leading to the launch of Happy Dog TV."
