In-Person Program Held After 3 Years
Operation of Exhibition Hall and Smart Factory Tour Route
Jeju Samdasoo announced on the 2nd that it will resume the Jeju Samdasoo factory visit program, which was suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The "Jeju Samdasoo Visit" program allows students and the general public to visit the Jeju Samdasoo factory located in Jocheon-eup, Jeju, to closely observe the Samdasoo brand story and production process. Jeju Samdasoo has been operating the visit program to vividly convey information about Jeju groundwater and the safe and clean production process of Samdasoo to customers. With the transition of COVID-19 to an endemic phase, Jeju Samdasoo plans to resume the on-site visit program alongside the existing online tours starting this month, continuing communication with customers.
The Jeju Samdasoo visit course includes watching a promotional video, touring the "Jeju Samdasoo Promotion Hall" where visitors can learn about the history of Jeju water and the birth story of Samdasoo, and viewing the "Smart Factory Tour Route," where visitors can see the process of Samdasoo being produced through state-of-the-art equipment systems. On the Smart Factory Tour Route, visitors can also enjoy various experiences such as the "Three-Sided 3D Video Zone," which vividly shows the process of rainwater falling from the sky becoming Samdasoo through stereoscopic video, and "Make Your Own Samdasoo," where visitors can create a Samdasoo label engraved with their own face.
On-site visits are held once a day at 2 p.m. on weekdays, while online tours are conducted twice daily at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Reservations for both on-site and online tours can be made in advance through the Jeju Samdasoo online tour website, with applications accepted up to 7 days before the desired visit date.
Baek Kyung-hoon, President of Jeju Development Corporation, stated, "We aim to provide customers with a beneficial and enjoyable experience, strengthen communication with customers, and further enhance trust in Samdasoo. As this is a valuable opportunity to see firsthand how the water we drink every day reaches our tables, we ask for your great interest and participation."
