Alternative Education Staff Training
On the 28th of last month, the Gyeongbuk Office of Education held the '2023 Alternative Education Consignment Institution Staff Training' for 30 staff members in charge of alternative education consignment institutions at the Gyeongbuk Office of Education Training Center.
The Gyeongbuk Office of Education, which designates and operates 18 alternative education consignment institutions for students who are maladjusted to school, planned this training to enhance the professionalism and practical skills of the consignment institution staff in order to reduce the student dropout rate.
The training focused on an explanation of the overall operation of alternative education consignment institutions and the execution of subsidies, along with a special lecture titled 'Cases of Operating Alternative Education Consignment Institutions' by Kim Dong-young, principal of Ulsan Citizen School, an excellent alternative education consignment institution selected by the Ministry of Education.
Lim Jong-sik, Superintendent of Gyeongbuk Education, said, "I hope this training served as an opportunity to further develop the job competencies of the consignment institution staff," and added, "The Gyeongbuk Office of Education will continue to prepare various support measures for alternative education to ensure that not a single student lets go of the thread of learning."
