The Nam-gu Council of Gwangju announced on the 28th that the "Partial Amendment to the Nam-gu Youth Activity Promotion Ordinance," proposed by Councilor Noso-young, has passed the review of the Social Construction Committee at the 293rd extraordinary session.
This ordinance was proposed to establish and specify the legal basis for supporting youth activities and to smoothly promote youth activity promotion projects.
The ordinance includes key provisions such as ▲specifying the contents of projects for the promotion and revitalization of youth activities ▲adding subsidy application and settlement details for youth activity promotion projects ▲providing rewards for winners of nationwide competitions.
Councilor Noso-young stated, “I hope to actively promote various youth activities so that young people can enjoy a better life.”
Meanwhile, the ordinance is scheduled to be amended through review and resolution at the 4th plenary session of the 293rd Nam-gu Council extraordinary session, to be held on May 4.
