In Miryang City, Gyeongnam Province, high-value hometown love donations of 5 million won, the highest amount, continue to be made. Son Heungsang, chairman of Haesim Scholarship Foundation, and Park Seongsu, CEO of Daekyung Machinery, each donated 5 million won as hometown love donations for their hometown Miryang.
Chairman Son also serves as the honorary chairman of Milseong Foundation in Miryang City, contributing to the development of education in the city and actively participating as a member of the hometown association. CEO Park operates Daekyung Machinery and Seonghan Enterprise in Busan.

The hometown love donation allows individuals to donate up to 5 million won to local governments other than their place of residence. Donors can receive thank-you gifts within 30% of the donation amount, and tax deductions of 100% up to 100,000 won and 16.5% on the excess amount are available.
