Dongwha Pharm announced on the 27th that it has signed a sponsorship contract with Kwon Soon-woo, who is considered a leading figure in Korean tennis. Through this sponsorship agreement, Dongwha Pharm will officially support Kwon until 2025.
Kwon, ranked number 1 in Korea, was ranked 75th in the world as of last month, and is recognized for rewriting Korean tennis history by becoming the first Korean to win two ATP Tour titles. Especially as tennis is becoming a craze among the younger generation and establishing itself as a new culture, Dongwha Pharm plans to join Kwon’s journey as a national tennis representative to create new history.
A representative from Dongwha Pharm said, “We are pleased to support Kwon Soon-woo, who represents Korean tennis, at Dongwha Pharm, home to leading Korean brands such as Hwalmyungsu, Pankol, and Itch,” adding, “Through Kwon Soon-woo’s challenges that are elevating the status of Korean tennis, we hope to expand communication with the MZ generation.”
