Yuhan Yanghaeng, 1Q Sales 431.4 Billion KRW... Operating Profit Up 287%

Yuhan Corporation continued its sales growth from the same period last year by recording sales of 431.4 billion KRW in the first quarter.

Yuhan Corporation announced its preliminary operating results based on consolidated financial statements for the first quarter on the 26th. First-quarter sales reached 431.447 billion KRW, marking an 8.5% increase compared to the same period last year. Operating profit also rose by 286.9% to 19.457 billion KRW, but net profit decreased by 60.9% to 34.7 billion KRW.

On a separate sales basis, sales amounted to 443.048 billion KRW, showing a 7.8% growth compared to the same period last year. Operating profit was 22.63 billion KRW, and net profit was 22.278 billion KRW, representing increases of 270.9% and 38.6%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.

By business division (separate basis), the pharmaceutical business led sales growth with 316.02 billion KRW in sales, showing a 7.7% increase compared to the previous year. Additionally, license revenue increased by 393% to 7.163 billion KRW, and overseas business also grew by 24.3% to 69.23 billion KRW.
