KT announced on the 26th that it has developed and commercialized the 'Eum 5G Intelligent Control Solution,' which allows easy monitoring of the Eum 5G (5G specialized network) infrastructure based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
The 'Eum 5G Intelligent Control Solution' developed by KT features a significant enhancement in the operational efficiency, convenience, and stability of Eum 5G by combining 5G commercial network operation know-how with AI technology.

The solution incorporates AI technology that detects anomalies by checking the network and equipment status in real time. It compares and analyzes dozens of equipment quality data learned in advance with real-time data, enabling the determination of equipment abnormalities with a single indicator.
Additionally, KT displays the status of access and core equipment in five levels, allowing intuitive identification of the equipment with issues and the severity of the anomalies. By utilizing KT's 'Eum 5G Intelligent Control Solution,' companies or institutions without network specialists can operate the Eum 5G network without burden.
Through this, customers can proactively respond before service quality deteriorates due to equipment abnormalities in Eum 5G. Even if an actual failure occurs, the solution thoroughly analyzes problems across the entire network section from terminals to core (E2E, End-to-End) and provides guidance on corrective actions, making response easier.
KT has currently applied the 'Eum 5G Intelligent Control Solution' to four institutions where Eum 5G infrastructure has been established through the government's '5G Convergence Service Public Sector Leading Application Project': Bundang Seoul National University Hospital, Samsung Seoul Hospital, Korea Aerospace Industries Co., Ltd., and the Naval Headquarters. KT plans to continue expanding the application of the control solution to new Eum 5G projects to support customers in efficiently operating their infrastructure.
Jong-sik Lee, Head of the Infrastructure DX Research Institute at KT Convergence Technology Center (Executive Director), said, "'Eum 5G Intelligent Control Solution' is expected to reduce the network operation burden for operators and contribute to the activation of the Eum 5G business," adding, "KT will continue to do its best to ensure customers experience the highest quality of service."
