Dongkuk Steel, Hosts Steel Shop Partners Day Inviting Member Companies

Dongkuk Steel invited customers of its trading platform Steel Shop to hold Steel Shop Partners Day, the company announced on the 20th.

Steel Shop is a platform that improves customer inconveniences arising from the existing steel trading process and provides services through an e-commerce method. A total of 47 people from 30 member companies attended the event.

Since its opening in May 2021, Dongkuk Steel's Steel Shop has been recognized for differentiated services such as short-term delivery of thick plates, small quantity transportation of rebar, and sales of coil rebar, recording about 2,000 member companies and cumulative sales of 50,000 tons within 23 months of opening.

A Dongkuk Steel official said, "Steel Shop aims to build a platform where steel purchases can be completed online and targets an annual sales system of 250,000 tons by 2026."
