'Ajikkajineun Gwaenchana' Surpasses 'The Glory' and Others
Actresses Kim Hee-ae and Moon So-ri teamed up in the drama 'Queenmaker,' which topped the weekly viewing hours chart in the non-English TV category on Netflix. According to Netflix's official site, Netflix Top 10, the show was watched for 15.87 million hours from the 10th to the 16th. It ranked first in the non-English TV category, surpassing 'Now, We Are Breaking Up' (14.78 million hours), 'The Glory' (12.9 million hours), and 'Sacred Divorce' (10.39 million hours).
Released on the 14th, 'Queenmaker' is a political drama depicting Hwang Do-hee (Kim Hee-ae), a genius in image making, who sides with the underdog and jumps into the election field to make Oh Kyung-sook (Moon So-ri) the mayor of Seoul. The script was written by writer Moon Ji-young and directed by Oh Jin-seok. The cast includes Kim Hee-ae, Moon So-ri, Ryu Soo-young, Seo Yi-sook, Lee Kyung-young, Jin Kyung, Kim Tae-hoon, Kim Ho-jung, Ok Ja-yeon, Kim Sae-byuk, and Yoon Ji-hye.
