Premium East Sea 'Ayajin La Mer Desiang' Second House Demand Surges, Drawing Daily Attention

In recent years, improving quality of life has emerged as the biggest topic in our society. This trend is also reflected in residential culture. Accordingly, the '5-day city, 2-day countryside life' and a step further, the 'Rustic Life,' where people spend 5 days in the city and 2 days enjoying leisure at a resort, have rapidly become housing trends.

In line with these trends, the real estate market has seen a continued enthusiasm for second house properties. As demanders began seeking spaces away from their daily routines to find their own special retreats, attention shifted to second houses.

Moreover, through mass media such as TV and SNS, celebrities and influencers frequently showcase their lifestyles with second houses aimed at enhancing quality of life, which has further increased interest and popularity, especially among younger generations. An industry insider stated, "The significant rise in real estate prices in coastal cities like Sokcho and Busan over the past few years is in the same context."

Such heated enthusiasm for second houses is recently reigniting in the real estate market. With the COVID-19 pandemic effectively over and the tourism industry resuming, demanders' interest is once again focusing on these properties.

In particular, major tourist areas in Gangwon-do, such as Sokcho, where the tourism industry is fully recovering and the influx of foreign tourists is becoming active, are seeing renewed demand. This has led to apartment prices either turning upward or stabilizing, indicating a bottoming-out trend.

According to actual transaction prices from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, in Sokcho City, an 84㎡ unit of 'Hillstate Sokcho Central' changed hands for 599 million KRW in March, which is over 100 million KRW higher than the same month last year (497 million KRW). Additionally, according to KB data, apartment prices in Gangneung City rose by 4.21% year-on-year last month, ranking first nationwide in housing price growth.

Amid this, 'Ayajin La Mer Desiang,' located in Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do, which boasts various tourist attractions such as Hwajinpo Beach, Ayajin Beach, Songjiho, the Unification Observatory, Guam Village, Seoraksan National Park, and Ulsan Rock, is attracting high interest from second house demanders.

In particular, this complex is adjacent to Ayajin Beach and is called a second house embracing the sea. The model house, currently offering units on a first-come, first-served basis with designated building and unit numbers, reportedly continues to see steady visitor traffic.

Ayajin La Mer Desiang is the first branded apartment complex in the Ayajin-ri area of Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do. It consists of 8 buildings ranging from 3 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, with units sized from 59 to 215 pyeong (including penthouses), totaling 811 households.

The complex is situated on a hill overlooking Ayajin Port and Ayajin Beach, offering a premium view of the East Sea. Ayajin Beach is located within 400 meters, allowing residents to enjoy ocean life, and most units offer views of the East Sea (some exceptions apply). Additionally, the complex offers views of Seoraksan's Ulsan Rock (excluding some units) and access to pristine natural environments such as Cheonjincheon Stream.

The complex also boasts excellent infrastructure, notably with National Road No. 7 adjacent, facilitating easy access to Sokcho. This allows residents to share the Sokcho living area through Ayajin's central living zone and excellent transportation environment, with convenient access to E-Mart Sokcho Branch, Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal, and Sokcho Fish Market.

Furthermore, the complex provides convenient access to major road networks such as the Donghae Expressway and Seoul-Yangyang Expressway. Nearby, projects like the Chuncheon-Sokcho East-West High-Speed Railway and the Donghae Northern Line Railway connecting Gangneung to Jejin are underway, targeting completion by 2027, which is expected to further improve transportation convenience.

Ayajin La Mer Desiang is designed primarily with south and southeast-facing layouts to enhance openness and comfort. The floor plans mainly feature 3 to 4 bays and incorporate alpha rooms, dressing rooms, and pantries, expanding storage space and usability.

The complex plans to offer diverse landscaping and community facilities, including an Aqua Plaza with various natural elements and water playgrounds, children's playground, rooftop garden, senior garden, maple garden, and orchard tea garden, introducing differentiated landscaping.

Additionally, rare community facilities for Goseong will be provided, including a fitness club, G.X room, indoor golf practice range, screen golf, and spaces for hobbies, as well as leisure facilities such as a lounge cafe, multipurpose room, and coin laundry. Facilities for children such as a kids' play club, cafe-style library, and separate study rooms for boys and girls will also be available.

A sales representative stated, "In addition, the fixed first deposit of 10 million KRW and interest-free installment payments significantly reduce the financial burden, which has been well received by demanders. Also, the merit of being able to resell the pre-sale rights immediately after full payment of the deposit is facilitating smooth contract progress."

Ayajin La Mer Desiang is currently conducting first-come, first-served sales with designated building and unit numbers at the model house.
