Muan County Council Holds Exchange Meeting with Hampyeong County Council

Seeking Mutual Development through Exchange and Cooperation between Muan and Hampyeong

The Muan County Council in Jeollanam-do (Chairman Kim Kyung-hyun) held a meeting on the 17th to promote exchange and cooperation with the Hampyeong County Council (Chairman Yoon Aeng-rang).

According to the county on the 18th, about 35 people, including the chairman and members of the Muan County Council and the chairman and members of the Hampyeong County Council, attended the meeting. They shared best practices regarding overall council operations and took time to foster mutual development between the two councils.

In particular, they agreed to cooperate on regional development projects for agricultural lands located in Muan-eup, Hyeonggyeong-myeon, and Mongtan-myeon, which lie along the boundary between Muan and Hampyeong.

They then toured the Muan County Council facilities, including the main assembly hall, standing committee meeting rooms, and the expert committee office, exchanging opinions on necessary aspects for legislative activities and conducting comparative inspections of their council operations.

Chairman Kim Kyung-hyun said, “We hope that continuous exchange and cooperation between Muan and Hampyeong will lead to the exchange of diverse opinions on regional issues and legislative activities, and that mutual cooperation will foster shared development.”
