Hwasun-gun Invites Policy Proposals from All Citizens Until the 26th of Next Month

Renewing Hwasun! Making Residents Happy! Five Sectors Including Tourism, Agriculture, and Economy

Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 18th that it will hold the 2023 Hwasun-gun Policy Idea Contest to discover various and creative ideas to make 'Hwasun new! and its residents happy!' and reflect them in policies.

The contest themes are based on five areas aligned with the county administration goals: ▲ Open administration serving residents ▲ Hwasun economy with abundant jobs ▲ A cultural city where people want to stay ▲ Wealthy rural areas with high income ▲ Welfare Hwasun enjoyed by all.

The submission period is from April 17 to May 26, and applicants can submit their application forms via email, mail, or in person.

Submitted ideas will be reviewed three times: by the relevant department's practical review, the county administration coordination committee, and the expert review committee. Prizes will be awarded as follows: Grand Prize 2 million KRW (1 person), Gold Prize 1.5 million KRW (2 people), Silver Prize 1 million KRW (3 people), and Bronze Prize 500,000 KRW (4 people).

County Governor Koo Bok-gyu said, “We hope that this contest will actively discover diverse and innovative ideas for the development of Hwasun-gun,” and added, “We ask for much interest and participation in the Hwasun-gun Policy Idea Contest.”
