KT M Mobile launches affordable smart folder phone ‘Aroot Folder A1’

KT M mobile announced on the 17th that it has launched the practical LTE smart folder phone ‘A-Route Folder A1’ targeting teenagers and the silver generation.

The A-Route Folder A1 is a product jointly introduced by KT M mobile and A-Route. The A-Route Folder A1 model is a practical smart folder phone that allows downloading and using various applications (apps) on a folder phone. It simplifies design and functions and enhances price competitiveness for teenagers and the silver generation who feel burdened by the high cost of smartphones.

The product’s retail price is 199,100 KRW, and it comes in one color, ‘White Pearl.’ The A-Route Folder A1 is available for purchase at KT M mobile Direct Mall and dealerships. When using youth and silver generation plans such as ▲LTE Data Budget 30 Minutes (8,800 KRW) ▲Youth Safety 10,000 (13,200 KRW), the monthly cost including device installment (based on 24 months) and the plan can be used for around 10,000 KRW per month.

In particular, the A-Route Folder A1 features the ability to use essential applications such as internet messengers (KakaoTalk, etc.) while reducing smartphone dependency for students and examinees who need to focus on their studies. It also offers a simple screen layout and large icons to enhance convenience for the silver generation who are not familiar with smartphone use.

The newly released ‘A-Route Folder A1’ supports the Android OS operating system and touchscreen functionality, which are useful for teenage and silver generation customers. The device specifications include ▲3.5-inch screen ▲weight of 155g ▲5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera, designed with teenage and silver generation users in mind. It supports additional external memory of 128GB and is equipped with a 1.44-inch front LED that allows checking the time, incoming number, and battery capacity on the external screen.
