BC Card Starts Stock Investment on Paybook... Event Offering 1 Share as Gift

Investment Possible with Decimal Points and Points

BC Card is launching a service that allows stock trading through the 'Paybook' application (app).

BC Card announced on the 17th that it will start the Paybook 'Oreurak' service.

Started in partnership with KB Securities, this service is designed for those new to stock investing, featuring only the essential functions such as account opening, stock trading, and balance inquiry. It can be accessed by selecting the 'Financial Management' tab at the bottom of the Paybook app and then choosing the investment section.

The service supports fractional investing in domestic and overseas stocks starting from as little as 1,000 KRW, and from as early as next month, users will also be able to invest using points (Paybook Money) accumulated from card and consumption benefits.

Additionally, customized investment information services using artificial intelligence (AI), such as daily market summaries and favorite stock summaries, as well as a discussion room (real-time chat) community service where users can share various opinions including IPO schedules, major investment event announcements, and economic and industry analyses, will be provided sequentially.

To commemorate the launch of the service, a promotion will be held until June 30, offering a chance to win one share of domestic stock by lottery.

By signing up for the 'Oreurak' service and opening an account, users can enter a lottery to receive one share from among 10 representative domestic stocks (Samsung Electronics, NAVER, KakaoBank, HYBE, Kia, KT, Pulmuone, BGF Retail, Genie Music, T'way Air).

Oh Seong-su, Head of the Paybook Company Business Group, stated, "The investment service 'Oreurak' is a service that integrates saving, accumulating, and financial management together with the existing payment users' consumption benefit services," adding, "Through the 'Oreurak' service, customers will be able to experience the 'lifestyle financial platform' Paybook in a new way."
