Kim Ki-hyun Postpones Visit to Park Geun-hye to After the 19th

Kim Ki-hyun, leader of the People Power Party, decided to postpone the scheduled visit to former President Park Geun-hye on the 19th.


According to a People Power Party official on the 16th, Kim decided to postpone the visit due to a busy schedule, including attending the April 19th commemoration ceremony.

It is known that Kim had been coordinating the date for the visit to former President Park since shortly after assuming the party leadership.


Earlier, on the 15th of last month, Kim visited former President Lee Myung-bak's residence and talked with him for about 30 minutes.


Before the visit to former President Park, Kim visited the Park Chung-hee Presidential Memorial Hall on the 14th and said, "He is one of the great leaders who shaped the history of the Republic of Korea," adding, "I came to reflect once again on his legacy."
