According to foreign media on the 15th (local time), President Lula stated as he left Beijing on the last day of his visit to China, "The United States must stop fueling the war, and the European Union (EU) should start talks about peace."
President Lula met with Chinese President Xi Jinping and other Chinese leaders from the 12th until this day. During this summit, the possibility of forming a group of national leaders with similar views on the Ukraine war was also discussed.
President Lula said, "I already have a theory that I have advocated together with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and U.S. President Joe Biden, and I had a long discussion about it yesterday with President Xi Jinping," adding, "There is a need to form a group of countries willing to find a way to achieve peace."
