The ‘Happy Meal Project’ is a public-private partnership initiative that has been ongoing for five years, where private committee members identify vulnerable groups at risk of skipping meals twice a month, prepare side dishes and soup themselves, and deliver them while providing support for maintaining dietary habits and checking on their well-being.
In addition to the Happy Meal Project, the council supports welfare enhancement projects for local residents and marginalized groups, playing a vital role as a human safety net by leading efforts to improve residents’ welfare and discover welfare blind spots, thereby warming the local community.
Governor Yoon Kyung-hee expressed gratitude, saying, “I thank the members of the Jinbo-myeon Community Security Council who always work alongside local residents and deliver warmth for the welfare community,” and added, “The administration will do its best to increase opportunities for citizens to feel love and care for their neighbors.”
