Vice President Lee Young-shin of Joongang Cheonggwa Co., Ltd. and Professor Kim Il-tae, Chairman of the Festival Promotion Committee, Join Hometown Love Donation Campaign
Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 13th that Lee Young-shin, Vice President of Joongang Cheonggwa Co., Ltd., and Kim Il-tae, Chairman of the Bamboo Festival Promotion Committee, have joined the hometown love donation campaign as the spirit of participation continues to spread.
Lee Young-shin (Vice President of Joongang Cheonggwa Co., Ltd.) is a distribution expert who has dedicated his life to agricultural product distribution at the Garak-dong Agricultural Wholesale Market in Seoul. Since Damyang strawberries and tomatoes began to be distributed nationwide, he has been closely involved in securing the competitiveness of Damyang fruits.
Vice President Lee said, “I feel proud to be able to contribute to the development of Damyang, which I consider my second hometown, through the hometown love donation system,” and added, “I will continue to promote the hometown love donation system and actively participate in promoting Damyang agricultural products.”
Also, Kim Il-tae (Chairman of the Bamboo Festival Promotion Committee and Distinguished Professor at Chonnam National University) donated to the hometown love fund, wishing for the successful hosting of the New Bamboo Festival to be held on May 3.
Chairman Kim said, “Since this New Bamboo Festival is the first festival to be held after COVID-19, we have put a lot of effort into it,” and added, “I convey my wishes for the successful hosting of the festival and the development of Damyang through the hometown love donation.”
Meanwhile, Damyang-gun plans to publicly recruit ideas nationwide for fund projects to be carried out with the currently raised hometown love donation funds.
