KB Financial Group announced on the 13th that it has signed a business agreement with law firms Sejong and Taepyungyang to strengthen the provision of family office services.
Family office services are consulting services that provide customized solutions for the lifecycle and business operation stages of key assets of individuals and family businesses.
Through this business agreement, KB Kookmin Bank and KB Securities will support legal services for overall asset management tasks such as business succession, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and testamentary trusts.
In the future, KB Financial plans to additionally sign business agreements in three areas: accounting firms supporting tax filing, overseas real estate corporations responsible for domestic and international real estate acquisition, sales, and development, and U.S. tax firms providing services related to U.S. tax obligations. KB Financial stated that it will provide the best family office services to 'KB GOLD&WISE the FIRST' customers.
Choi Jae-young, Vice President of KB Financial Group, said, "Through collaboration between the dedicated KB Family Office team and external expert groups, it has become possible to propose optimal solutions at a higher level for customers," adding, "We will continue to lead the growth and development of asset management business in Korea."
