Busan City Opens Magic... Spring Magic Tour 'Magic Circus' Held!

Busan City and the Busan International Magic Festival Organizing Committee (Executive Chairman Kang Yeol-woo) will hold the ‘Magic Circus Spring’ at Spo1 Park Kkumnarae Children's Theater every weekend from the 15th to June 11th.

‘Magic Circus’ is the 18th Busan International Magic Festival’s regular performance program that all citizens across the city can enjoy. Thanks to the support from last year, this year it will be held as ‘Spring’ and ‘Autumn’ series.

This ‘Magic Circus’ features various programs for family audiences welcoming spring, including ▲ Variety Magic Show ‘Magic Circus’ ▲ Large Illusion Photo Zone Experience ‘World Magic Experience Exhibition’ ▲ ‘Magic Play,’ where visitors can make and learn about the fascinating and fun magic tools seen in the performances. The event will be conducted in a stamp tour format.

In particular, those who complete all the stamp missions through watching performances and participating in experience events will receive a ‘Children Magician Certificate’ and have the opportunity to take commemorative photos.

Kim Ki-hwan, Director of the City’s Culture and Sports Bureau, said, “This year’s Busan International Magic Festival is spreading out venues and times so that citizens can enjoy various performances, revitalizing popular cultural performances. We ask for the citizens’ great interest and support for the main event of the Busan International Magic Festival to be held at the end of June.”

The main event of the ‘18th Busan International Magic Festival,’ held to foster magic as a Hallyu cultural tourism content and strengthen the region’s cultural competitiveness, is scheduled to take place at the Busan Cinema Center from June 30 to July 2.
