Powernet "Success in Developing the World's Most Efficient Ultra-Slim Adapter"

Powernet announced on the 13th that it has succeeded in developing the world's highest efficiency ultra-slim adapter.

Last month, Powernet signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Wise Integration, a French digital GaN total solution company, and began strategic technology collaboration. About a month later, they announced the successful development of an ultra-slim, high-efficiency adapter applying the relevant technology.

Accordingly, Powernet held an early product development commemorative event on the 6th, during which the two companies shared their vision and exchanged technology.

In his commemorative speech, Powernet CEO Donju Lee said, “By combining the best technologies of both companies, we expect to usher in a new era in the power electronics industry. Additionally, we will lead the way in practicing ESG by providing a higher level of energy efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.”

Wise Integration CEO Tierry Bouchet stated, “Through Wise’s unique GaN IC and digital control technology, we will actively support Powernet in developing ultra-slim, high-efficiency power supply devices and build a long-term business relationship.”

After the commemorative event, a development official said, “The newly developed 65W PD Adaptor is a highly efficient, ultra-compact product that applies Wise Integration’s Digital GaN total solution to our specialized high-integration technology, and we are confident it has a comparative advantage in size and efficiency over any other product in its class. We plan to maintain a long-term partnership with Wise Integration and focus on research activities to expand applicable models and develop products with a focus on design, so that starting with the PD Adaptor, it can be applied in various fields requiring energy efficiency, including monitors, TV sets, and electric vehicles.”
