Up to 85% Support for Facility Costs by Energy Source
Hamyang County, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 13th that it will apply for the '2024 Renewable Energy Convergence Support Project' organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Energy Agency.
The Renewable Energy Convergence Support Project is an energy source convergence project that installs facilities of two or more types of renewable energy sources simultaneously, and a district convergence support project that promotes the installation of facilities for various types of buildings at the same time.
The county has completed the recruitment and selection of participating companies for the public offering project, and plans to conduct a demand survey of target sites by the end of May and apply for the project in June.
This project is open to any residents living in Hamyang (11 towns and townships) with legally constructed buildings, and they can receive subsidies covering up to 85% of the cost of renewable energy facilities (solar power, solar heat, geothermal).
To apply, applicants must submit all application documents to the relevant town or township office, after which the participating companies will collect (receive) them and conduct on-site verification for final selection.
