Naver disclosed on the 10th that CEO Choi Soo-yeon and CFO Kim Nam-sun purchased 1,026 and 519 shares of the company's stock, respectively.
The scale of Naver stock purchases by CEO Choi and CFO Kim is approximately 200 million KRW and 100 million KRW, respectively. This additional purchase follows a stock acquisition worth about 100 million KRW shortly after their appointments last year.
Naver stated, "The CEO and CFO made additional purchases of the company's stock to further strengthen their commitment to the company's growth and responsible management on the occasion of their first anniversary in office."
In March, CEO Choi said at the general shareholders' meeting, "Despite the global economic uncertainties, we will prove Naver's global competitiveness through steady growth of existing businesses and pioneering new markets," adding, "We will do our best to enhance shareholder value."
