Hampyeong-gun Participates in the '3rd Korea Representative Festival Expo'

Best Festival Award Content Category 'Excellence Award' Winner

Hampyeong-gun made every effort to promote local tourism resources by participating in the '3rd Korea Representative Festival Expo.'

On the 10th, Jeollanam-do Hampyeong-gun announced that it had operated a tourism promotion booth at the '3rd Korea Representative Festival Expo,' held for three days from the 7th at BEXCO in Haeundae-gu, Busan.

The Festival Expo was organized to gather regional festivals from across the country in one place, strengthen the competitiveness of the festival industry through external promotion, and promote tourism revitalization.

At this expo, the county held various events to promote representative local festivals and tourist attractions such as the Hampyeong Butterfly Festival and the Korea Chrysanthemum Exhibition, receiving great responses from visitors.

Additionally, one-on-one consultations with tourism-related buyers and companies were conducted to foster the development of the festival industry.

In particular, the county achieved the distinction of winning the Excellence Award in the 'Best Festival Award Content Category' at this expo.

A county official stated, “We will analyze new festival trends and actively discover content to attract tourists.”
