Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will conduct a school violence survey until the 10th of next month.
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will conduct the '1st School Violence Survey' from the 10th of this month to the 10th of next month.
The survey targets students from 4th grade elementary school to 3rd grade high school within the province. Students can individually access the school violence survey website (http://survey.eduro.go.kr) at home via PC or mobile devices (smartphones, tablets) and participate after verifying the authentication number without the need for membership registration.
The survey covers experiences and perceptions related to witnessing, victimization, and perpetration of school violence. Students can respond to the questionnaire 24 hours a day during the survey period.
The Office of Education provides services to ensure no student is excluded during the survey participation process, including ▲voice support for visually impaired students ▲web accessibility technologies such as shortcut key services ▲support services in seven languages (English, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino, Russian) for students from multicultural families.
The Office of Education will disclose the survey results by school on the School Information site in September.
Seo Eun-kyung, Director of the Life and Character Education Division at the Office of Education, stated, "Cases reported through this school violence survey will be investigated and addressed by schools, education support offices, and the police," and added, "Based on the survey results, plans for prevention and response to school violence will be established, so we ask for active participation and interest from students."
