Joint and Specialized Marketing Support Project Promotion
Online and Offline Marketing Support and Development
Busan City, together with the Busan Economic Promotion Agency, is expanding this year's support target for promising small business sectors to the entire pet industry and will support joint and specialized marketing projects for small business owners.
The 'Promising Small Business Marketing Support Project' has been promoted since 2017 to foster co-growth by industry through online and offline marketing support and to develop local specialized brands.
Since handcrafted beer was first selected in 2017, the following have been chosen: ▲paddleboard (2018) ▲Busan Kkomjangeo (2019) ▲specialty cafes (2020) ▲cafes (2021) ▲handmade pet snacks (2022).
This year, support, which was limited to handmade pet snack companies last year, will be expanded to the entire pet industry including pet supplies and grooming, with plans to select 10 new companies.
Selected companies will receive customized 'specialized marketing' support of up to 5 million KRW per company for promotional material production, participation in fairs and exhibitions, and will also receive 'joint marketing' for industry revitalization such as online marketing and flea markets together with 16 companies selected last year.
Applications can be submitted from April 10 to April 21 on the Busan Small Business Comprehensive Support Center website, and for more details, inquiries can be made to the Busan Economic Promotion Agency.
Shin Chang-ho, Director of the Digital Economy Innovation Office of Busan City, stated, "We hope this support project will invigorate the rapidly growing pet industry, leading to co-growth and increased sales, and we look forward to active participation from small business owners in Busan's pet industry."
