More than 80% of Russians responded that they trust Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to a report by the state-run TASS news agency on the 7th (local time), citing a domestic public opinion research institute.
According to the report, the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM) stated that the trust level of Russians in President Putin recorded 80.4%, down 0.1 percentage points from a week ago. This response came from a survey conducted from the 27th of last month to the 2nd of this month, asking 1,600 Russians aged 18 and over, "Do you trust President Putin?"
The approval rating for President Putin's administration was 77.9%, the same as last week.
Positive evaluations of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and the Russian government were 55.2% and 53.8%, respectively, rising 0.7 percentage points and 1 percentage point compared to the previous week.
Support for Russian political parties showed the ruling United Russia party at 40.3%. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation had 9.9%, the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia 8.3%, A Just Russia party 5.7%, and the New People party 4.7% support rates.
