ISO 37001 is an international standard specification for preventing corruption worldwide, including the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention and the United Nations (UN) Convention against Corruption. It stipulates controls and prevention policies for corruption risks that may arise in all organizational activities. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) audits and certifies whether companies have management systems that comply with international standards to prevent corruption.
GC Cell explained that with the ISO 37001 certification, it has established a control system to identify corruption risks occurring internally in advance and has put in place a prevention system against illegal and corrupt acts. Going forward, it plans to further strengthen employee training related to the anti-corruption management system and strictly comply with relevant laws and regulations until the ethics and compliance awareness of employees is internalized in all tasks.
James Park, CEO of GC Cell, said, "GC Cell will enhance management transparency and ethical management to fulfill its social roles and responsibilities and practice ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management."
