Cho Kyu-hong, Minister of Health and Welfare, has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced on the 6th, "Minister Cho was confirmed positive for COVID-19 around 9 PM the previous day," adding, "We will make every effort to minimize any disruption to work through online meetings and other measures."
This is the first time Minister Cho, who took office in October last year, has tested positive for COVID-19. He received the fifth COVID-19 vaccine dose in November last year.
