On the 5th, heavy rain and strong wind warnings were issued across Gyeongnam, causing incidents such as fence collapses and glass breakage within the province.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters and Changwon Fire Headquarters, at around 8:16 AM, a fence of an abandoned house in Sogae-dong, Uichang-gu collapsed, and at 11:39 AM, a tree near a bus stop in Namsan-dong, Seongsan-gu fell down.
At 9:11 AM, glass on the third floor of a building in Seongu-dong, Sacheon-si was broken by strong winds, and at 12:18 PM, street trees fell in Sanyang-eup, Tongyeong-si. At 12:30 PM, a vinyl greenhouse collapsed in Wondong-myeon, Yangsan-si.

At 12:57 PM, communication lines on a utility pole were loosened in Yeoncho-myeon, Geoje-si, and at 1:28 PM, a communication pole tilted in Okpo-dong.
In Hoewon-dong, Masanhwoe-gu, a sunshade hanging on a house rooftop was reported, and in Jung-dong, Uichang-gu, a building’s exterior wall was reported to be falling off due to strong winds.
The ceiling panels of the fish market arcade in Sinpo-dong, Masanhappo-gu were severely shaken, prompting firefighters to rush out and take safety measures.
In Yonghyeon-myeon, Sacheon-si, vinyl torn from a greenhouse covered the road.
The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that the heavy rain warning would continue until the 6th, and accordingly, Gyeongnam Province elevated the Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters to Level 1 emergency duty starting from 8 AM on the same day.
