Busan Education Research Information Center Operates Remote ICT Training for Teachers

The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Research Institute will operate an ongoing remote professional development course throughout the year to strengthen teacher competencies for nurturing digital talents.


This training was designed to enhance the digital capabilities of teachers and education professionals and is composed of the latest software and AI educational content.


In the training, participants can take 40 self-developed courses such as "Big Data Meets the Classroom" and "Using the Metaverse in Lessons," as well as 30 private-sector content courses including "AI Coding Blocks Anyone Can Easily Do."

Starting this year, learners can take unlimited courses anytime and anywhere they want. Additionally, for self-developed courses, the daily learning volume has been significantly expanded to up to 15 sessions to enable efficient learning, and courses with 15 or fewer sessions have omitted the evaluation process.


Choi Jae-yong, Director of the Education Research Information Center, said, "This training course for nurturing digital talents will greatly help teachers and education professionals actively respond to the rapidly changing educational environment and promote digital-based classes in school settings."
