Kolon FnC 'Head', Reborn as a Racket and Ski Brand

Kolon Industries FnC Division (Kolon FnC) announced on the 5th that the sports brand Head will be reborn as a racket and ski sports brand.


After a three-year restructuring period, Head is scheduled to be relaunched as a racket and ski brand within this month. Head is famous as one of the top three global tennis racket brands. In skiing, it is also the brand that first invented the aluminum ski plate in the world. Kolon FnC plans to strengthen these strengths of Head and lead another leap as a sports brand in Korea.

The biggest feature of this relaunch is digital. All clothing and accessory products are designed through CLO, a 3D clothing design software by Clover Virtual Fashion, shortening the planning process period. The products produced in this way will be distributed through online platforms centered on Kolon Mall. Kolon Mall plans to strengthen links with customers by releasing new products in a monthly drop format.


In the spring and summer seasons, tennis wear and rackets will be the main products. To commemorate this launch, a collaboration product with the easy life wear brand 'The Sweat' will also be released. It is also an opportunity to directly experience Head's rackets. About 40 types of rackets are prepared, ranging from beginner models optimized for those starting tennis to professional models. Collaboration with the designer brand 'Ape the Great Sports (ATGS)' by Steve J and Yoni P will also be conducted. From April 20th for two weeks at the ATGS Hannam store, a space will be proposed where you can experience the tennis atmosphere in the heart of the city, and collaboration products between Head and ATGS will be showcased. In the fall and winter seasons, ski wear and equipment showcasing Head's heritage will be released.


A Head official said, "Head is a brand that connects heritage and trends, encompasses clothing and equipment, and links online sales with offline sports experiences," adding, "We will continue to grow as a brand that delivers the joy of sports lifestyle in various ways."
