The police have conducted a search and seizure at a plastic surgery clinic where the wife of the main suspect in the kidnapping and murder case of a woman in her 40s in the Gangnam area worked.
On the 4th, the police announced that they began searching the plastic surgery clinic located in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, from around 3:50 PM.
The plastic surgery clinic is known to be the workplace of the wife of Lee Mo (35, legal office employee), who is identified as the main suspect in the kidnapping and murder case. It was reported that syringes were found in the passenger car used in the crime by Lee’s accomplices Hwang Mo (36, liquor company employee) and Yeon Mo (30, unemployed), and the police are investigating whether tools used in the crime were provided by the plastic surgery clinic. According to the police, anesthetic components were detected in the syringes.
Lee’s side denies the allegations that the syringes and anesthetics were obtained through his wife.
