On the 3rd, the Gyeongnam Nonghyup Mart Business Gyeongnam Branch held a tree planting event as part of the 'National Nonghyup 61,000 Trees Planting Campaign' to commemorate the 78th Arbor Day.
They planted 1,300 trees of about 10 different species, including cherry trees, on the lawn plaza of the Miryang Logistics Center located in Bubuk-myeon, Miryang City.
The 'National Nonghyup 61,000 Trees Planting Campaign' is a follow-up campaign to last year's National Nonghyup ESG practice campaign, which involved walking 6.1 billion steps. It was organized to expand Nonghyup's ESG management activities and to practice carbon reduction through tree planting events.

About 50 employees from Nonghyup Mart Business Gyeongnam Branch, Yeongnam Agricultural Products Logistics Center, and Miryang City Branch participated in this tree planting event, pledging to take the lead in low-carbon green growth and environmental protection across Nonghyup.
Kim Jin-young, the branch manager, said, “Nonghyup Mart Business Gyeongnam Branch will practice ESG management through continuous tree planting events,” and added, “We promise to actively participate in various campaigns for agriculture, rural areas, and our local community in the future.”
