Established to establish national standard systems and conduct qualification certification for various testing institutions, KOLAS grants accreditation to international testing laboratories through conformity assessments of quality systems, facilities or equipment, and technical capabilities of testing institutions. To achieve this, all international standards such as systematic management system reviews and data and information security management must be met.

The ES (Energy Solution) Business Division, responsible for the lead-acid battery business at Korea & Company, currently operates four global sales bases located in Korea, the United States, Europe, and Dubai, three domestic and overseas production facilities, and a Korean R&D center. It provides lead-acid battery services to approximately 450 customers in about 100 countries worldwide.
