Celebratory Performances by 16 Popular Singers Including Jin Simon and Kim Dana
Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 3rd that it will hold the king of singers selection contest, ‘Namdo National Singing Contest,’ together with Jeonnam Broadcasting during the Hwasun Dolmen Festival.
The ‘Namdo National Singing Contest’ will be held from the 28th to the 29th alongside the ‘Hwasun Dolmen Festival with Spring Flowers,’ which takes place over 10 days from the 21st to the 30th.
This singing contest is hosted by the Jeonnam Culture and Arts Federation, and the grand prize has been increased to 5 million won, encouraging many participants and the discovery of popular culture artists. Additionally, all participants will receive a 10,000 won Hwasun Love Gift Certificate.
Anyone who is a Korean citizen, regardless of region, can participate, and participants will have the opportunity to compete with many popular singers.
Moreover, participants from all over the country, including Jeju Island, Gangwon Province, the metropolitan area, Chungcheong region, and Yeongnam region, have applied, promising a rich and diverse performance.
The ‘Namdo National Singing Contest’ will be held on the main stage of the Hwasun Dolmen Festival, with preliminaries on the 28th and the final round to determine the ultimate winner on the 29th.
Established as a competition stage for musicians, the ‘Namdo National Singing Contest’ has been uniquely conducted as a contest between professional singers and amateurs, preceding shows like ‘Miss Trot.’ Now in its third year, it is emerging as one of the top singing contests.
In particular, among the musicians participating in the preliminaries on the 28th, there are professional singers who are currently rising in popularity, making the competition between professionals and amateur singers highly anticipated.
Meanwhile, the final round celebration stage will be illuminated by Jin Simon, Kim Dana, Son Jung-yoon, Yang Hak-tae, Second, Kings Band, and ELRIS, while the preliminary celebration stage will feature local musicians such as Go Yoon-mi, Ging Dong-gyu, Kim Mi-yeon, Park Chi-young, Bultae-san, Shim Jae-pil, Yoo Yeon-ju, and Hong Soo-pil, who will showcase their skills with unique vocal styles to tourists and participants.
