Some customers even boast about their 70th visit. It is common to wait over two hours to taste the dish.
Regarding the secret to this popularity, CEO Kim Yoon-jung says it is ‘sincerity.’ Rather than being preoccupied with how to increase sales, she focused on how to make customers visit again.
Even on days when only one bowl was sold, she remained faithful to the basics. Such efforts accumulated and sales began to increase. Even now, CEO Kim Yoon-jung and her spouse operate the business 300 days a year and eat makguksu 280 times annually.
If you want to hear the secret of CEO Kim Yoon-jung’s ‘sincere management’ at Gogiri Makguksu, a pre-performance is scheduled at 4 PM, and the main lecture starts at 4:30 PM.
The on-site lecture is first-come, first-served without separate reservations, and real-time attendance is also possible via Jangseong-gun’s YouTube broadcast.
